The Night Country by Stewart O’Nan is still moving at the printer, although a few weeks behind schedule due to some delays with the cover material vendor. The dummy book was finished late last month, though, and the slipcase maker is working on the approval slipcase now. As of today, we’re still on schedule thanks to some extra padding I always add to the timeline, but we’ve just about used all of that up at the printer.
For those who don’t know, the dummy book is a blank version of the book made ahead of time, so the slipcase maker can have the exact sizing of the final book. The dummy book is made with the same materials as the real book will be, but the pages are blank and there is no hot foil stamping on the covers, etc.
I really love the look and feel of the cover material we selected for this Limited Edition, which is similar to the material many publishers use for their Lettered Editions, and I cannot wait for everyone to see and hold this one in person.

More news to come! Thank you, as always, for your continuing support!
