Hey Folks!
I’ve fallen behind on updating the website because this summer’s move (family and business) has been an all-consuming project, but lots of things are happening. Because it’s really easy to post quickly to Patreon, I do toss short updates there in addition to the other content, and I make any of the Production & Schedule related posts for announced projects free to everyone so you don’t have to be a member to read them. You can even sign up to receive the free posts via email, I think. There’s also the Production Updates page here on the website.
SHORT VERSION:
The Ferryman by Justin Cronin, Lost Man’s Lane by Scott Carson, The Haunted and The House by Bentley Little, and Leviathan by Robert McCammon are all done at the printer and our slipcase maker is hard at work. Above is a photo of the books and their approval slipcases. The hope is for all of these titles to ship by the end of September.
There have been some supply chain issues — shocker, I know — but we’re on it. The dust jackets for Leviathan, Lost Man’s Lane, and The Ferryman arrived with some damage, but our printer wasted no time and replacement DJs are already on the way. We’re shipping the Bentley Little books, which didn’t have any DJ issues, in the meantime.
Both the Limited Edition and Lettered Edition of Wraith by Joe Hill are almost done at the printer, and our case maker is ready to take all of the measurements on the first finished books to get the sizing just right. I’ll have a lot more news to share about this title over the next few months.
LONGER UPDATES:
For The Ferryman, you can see a little video about the binding material on my Patreon (free post). Here’s what the DJ and slipcase look like:

Okay, that’s probably enough for one post. There’s a lot more over in the free Production & Schedule section on Patreon if you want a deeper dive, and if I missed something you’re wondering about, please always feel free to email me: brian@lividian.com
LOTS more news coming soon. Thank you, as always, for your continuing support and enthusiasm!
Best wishes,
Brian Freeman
