BIG UPDATE: We’re now expecting the slipcases for the Seven Shades of Evil Limited Edition to be completed next week, and we’ll begin shipping orders by the end of the month. (The Lettered Edition is still on track for late February or early March.) If you placed a preorder, our system has sent the “Your Lividian Publications Preorder Is Ready For Payment” email to prompt you for payment. If you didn’t see that email, no worries, you can either pay via the PREORDERS section on your account (if you were logged in when you ordered) or I can manually resend the email for you. In other news, we’re not quite ready to share all of our plans for 2024 yet, but looking at the big white board I see at least two projects with major New York Times bestselling authors we haven’t published here at Lividian before (one is famous for her twisty thrillers; the other wrote an acclaimed epic sized trilogy), along with a new Limited Edition by one of the authors we’ve published the most often so far.
Plus, as mentioned last month, the next Joe Hill special edition is officially on the way to the printer. We’re thrilled with the bonus material Joe has provided for this one including a brand new in-depth interview conducted by horror expert Mathias Clasen. The final page count for the Limited Edition is 592 pages, and more than 60 of those pages contain bonus material. We will make the official preorder announcement once the publication date is confirmed.
We recently signed an agreement to publish a first novel that we’re extremely pleased to be working on. This author is one of the most exciting young voices in the genre, and we cannot wait to share this book with the world. This will be an opportunity for collectors to grab an early Limited Edition by this author before a New York publisher sees what’s happening and signs him up for a big, big trade deal.
Also, our first Limited Edition with one of the most popular horror authors of the last few years was sent to the printer in October and will be published in the first quarter of 2024.
