“Phantoms is gruesome and unrelenting… It’s well realized, intelligent, and humane.”
— Stephen King
Lividian Publications is proud to be publishing our signed and traycased Lettered Edition hardcover of Phantoms by Dean Koontz. This special edition includes the novel, two short essays by Dean Koontz, and has been lavishly crafted with collectors and readers alike in mind. François Vaillancourt provided stunning color artwork for the stunning frontispiece along with twelve black and white illustrations for the interior, making this a true work of art.
We’re going old school on the production of this Lettered Edition to make it beautiful, affordable, and published on a reliable schedule. Our binder will take book blocks from the Limited Edition and rebind them with custom endpapers, a full-color FOLDOUT frontispiece, a sewn-in satin ribbon page marker, a beautiful binding material, and a signature sheet signed by Dean Koontz and François Vaillancourt. After the books are completed, a custom traycase in a matching material will be constructed to house and protect these fine editions. This approach is by far the best way to marry beauty and affordability in a special edition, and these will be our most obtainable Lettered Editions in many years.

About the Book:
They found the town silent, apparently abandoned. Then they found the first body strangely swollen and still warm. One hundred fifty were dead, 350 missing. But the terror had only begun in the tiny mountain town of Snowfield, California.
At first, they thought it was the work of a maniac. Or terrorists. Or toxic contamination. Or a bizarre new disease.
But then they found the truth. And they saw it in the flesh. And it was worse than anything any of them had ever imagined…
