About the Book:
Seven Shades of Evil is the ninth volume in bestselling author Robert McCammon’s acclaimed series of historical thrillers featuring Matthew Corbett, and this fascinating installment features a wide range of adventures undertaken by both Matthew and his friends over the years.

From murder plots that aren’t what they seem, to creepy forests with possible supernatural evils, to a remote manor whose occupants are in the clutches of a ruthless master, these stories are an intriguing blend of everything wonderful that has drawn readers to the Matthew Corbett series for more than twenty years.

Seven Shades of Evil is the penultimate volume in the Matthew Corbett series, and the perfect table setter for the final adventure of the multifaceted character USA Network has called “the Early American James Bond.” This is another masterful volume from one of America’s most skilled authors, featuring some of his most memorable, compelling, and chilling characters.

About the Author:
Robert McCammon is the New York Times bestselling author of twenty-seven books. He is the winner of five Bram Stoker Awards and a World Fantasy Award. He is best known for Swan Song, The Wolf’s Hour, and Boy’s Life. More recently, McCammon has published The Five, which Stephen King called his best novel ever, and The Border, and is writing the Matthew Corbett series, a ten-book series of historical thrillers that USA Network has called “the Early American James Bond.” McCammon lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

PLEASE NOTE:
It appears that sometime between the final proofread of the signed editions of Seven Shades of Evil and when the printing started, the block of text on a two page spread got swapped with the adjoining two pages, putting four pages out of order. So, the pages are all there and numbered in the correct order, but the text is unfortunately in the wrong order. The correct reading order goes: page 33, 36, 37, 34, 35, and then 38 is where things are correct again. The Limited Edition has already shipped out the door, so we cannot add an errata sheet, but there will be one with the Lettered Edition, and here is a link to a PDF version if you need one. I’m looking into what exactly happened because I’ve never seen this in my 20+ years of publishing books, and obviously I want to prevent it from ever happening again. My apologies for this mistake.
